It was a proud and happy moment harvesting our own first homegrown Ashwagandha root. Ashwagandha, the ancient adaptogenic herb traditionally used in Ayurveda for more than 2500 years helps maintain the homeostasis of all our most important bodily systems. This is my favorite go-to nervous system soother which also makes it a great immune system strengthener and cognitions sharpener, containing powerful antioxidants for body & brain.
Looking at these organic shapes it feels like Mother Nature just lays it out to us. What foods and medicines are good for different organs or systems in your body? The traits and characteristics of foods will often give you clues. Ashwagandha is a root good for calming the nervous system, and look at all these nerves!!
